Must See Holiday Movies

What I look forward to most for the holiday season are classic Christmas movies. Here are a few movies my family and I must see each Christmas. I hope you and your family can add one of these movies to your list! Enjoy!

It’s a Wonderful Life

This movie is a classic and at the top of my list because it is my most favorite movie of the holiday season. This movie defines the true meaning of the Christmas season.

Miracle on 34th Street

I typically watch this movie around Thanksgiving, as well as Christmas. I have always been infatuated by the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade-so this movie is right up my alley. If you haven’t watched this movie, try it out the holiday season.

Meet Me in St. Louis

This is my favorite movie year- round. It’s a classic love story revolving around each season ending with Christmas. This movie will capture your heart from beginning to end.

White Christmas

Christmas isn’t complete without watching White Christmas. Considering I am obsessed with old Hollywood, this movie is at the top of my list and should be on yours too.

Home Alone

If you can’t recite this movie, we can’t be friends! ONLY KIDDING! This is blast from my past and a movie I treasure watching with my family.

Home Alone 2

Can’t watch the first movie without going on to the second one! Macaulay Culkin is the only true, Kevin McAllister in my eyes!

The Holiday

For a new(er) movie, this one took me by surprise. I truly enjoyed this movie from beginning to end, so it got added to my holiday movie list.

Holiday Inn

I watched this movie for the first time this year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love Fred Astaire, so I’m a little ashamed it took me this long to watch Holiday Inn. Must see!

A Christmas Carol

I watched this movie for the first time last year and this one also took me by surprise. I knew the story behind A Christmas Carol, but as always, Disney outdid themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed this version of A Christmas Carol.

Jack Frost

I can absolutely recall the first time I watched this movie with my grandmother. This was THE FIRST time I ever cried for a movie. I remember this vividly. This movie exemplifies a modern day lifestyle and holiday for many. You have to watch this, this holiday season.

A Charlie Brown Christmas

I’m not crazy about cartoons, but this movie warms my heart in every way. It is my Dad’s FAVORITE so we try our best to watch it every year. Who doesn’t love Charlie Brown!?

Santa Clause is Coming to Town

I’m guilty of watching this year round as a kid. I have always watched this movie from a very young age. Back I the olden days, I wore out 2 VCR tapes from watching it so many times. Great family movie!

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

This movie warms my heart in every which way. If you haven’t (which I hope you all have) you’ve got to watch Rudolph as least once this Christmas season!

The Grinch

It’s the…the…the….THE GRINCH! I vividly remember going see this with my parents when it came out in theaters. Now that it’s on Netflix, I’m guilty of watching it year round! Oh well! #grinching

I hope you al enjoyed this list! Now get off of the computer and go watch some movies!!! 💋✌🏼
