Hole In One Remodel: Baby Boy Nursery Styled By Hello GorJess

I’d say this remodel was a hole in one! This nursery has every classic element of vintage golf.

From the soft color palette to the natural wood elements, this nursery will have you wanting to hit a few balls on the course. Best of all, this little guy has finally made his arrival! He is by far the best accent to this room!

This sweet door hanger was made by one of my favorites, Mai’d with Love. If you are ever in need of any door hanger, sign, or item with personalization, she is the girl to call. This is only the entrance…wait until you see the rest!

Voila! Like I have said before, I am not a fan of going overboard with themes. However, because Cooper’s dad and grandpa are golf enthusiasts, I knew I wanted it to have an essence of the game without all the bells and whistles. I feel each element compliments each other so nicely. This collage wall is not only Gorjess, but also functional. The metal baskets on the natural wood shelf serve as a place for storage.  Not only do the baskets hold all of the diapers, they also keep the diapers “out of sight.” That way, this space can remain simplified and appealing to the eye.

As mentioned before, the golf theme came about because this Cooper’s dad and grandpa love the game. As “par for the course,” I knew I wanted to add personal touches to this room. By incorporating an old child’s golf club and a basket of balls from his dad as part of the decor, this wall now holds alot of sentimental value which is a major part of my design esthetic.

GOLF: Hobby Lobby

“O”: Mai’d with Love

Child’s Golf Club: Ebay

Golf Photos: Etsy

Shelf: Hobby Lobby

Frame: Ebay

Hello Handsome: Mai’d with Love

Golf Ball Basket: Hobby Lobby

Lamp: Target

Cooper’s mom thought of this adorable idea to put golf tees in the lamp we purchased from Target! How cute is this idea!?

This little space is super special. The “Hello Handsome” sign is painted on wood which came from a family member. Additionally, the framed photo right in the center is of his dad and grandfather playing golf together. Lastly, the golf balls are from his dad. Priceless!

I absolutely love the natural lighting in this room. How amazing is this crib? The navy gingham looks incredibly sophisticated with this color palette. When I think of golf, gingham always comes to mind. This entire crib area is simple and truly helps enhance the essence of golf in this nursery.

We picked up this gingham fabric from Hobby Lobby. Cooper’s mom was extra smart in recovering her older children’s bumper pads to cut on cost.  What an excellent way to save a few dollars for all you moms out there! The rug also came from Hobby Lobby.

Finally, one of the coolest accents in the room is this name board. I follow Creating Happiness (link here) on Instagram who created this board. This girl who produces the artwork for Creating Happiness has an incredible talent in creating customized boards in various wood stains, font colors, fonts styles, and size options. Her boards are a work of art and pictures do this board no justice. She was easy to work with and customized the “golf club and ball” on Cooper’s board. It is the perfect touch above his crib.

I hope you enjoyed this nursery tour just as much as I enjoyed seeing it come together as I had envisioned! Stay Gorjess, guys💋✌🏼
