I’d say we hit this one out of the park!
This was my very first bedroom remodel and one of my proudest projects. This vintage baseball inspired bedroom captures the talent of a special little boy who is quite the athlete. As always, my style is classic and timeless. I couldn’t think of anything better than highlighting old school baseball.

Bed:
The layout of this bedroom required a day bed in order to have walking room. The first purchase was the bedding, which inspired the color palette, (shades of blue, white and a pop of red). We were also able to reuse the Euro shams from his last bed spread. I love grey washed furniture, so I felt this would compliment the theme. More than anything I wanted this room to be something that this little boy could grow into and designed to keep this room organized and simplified.

The BEST find in this room was this “S” end table. It was tucked away in a corner at Tuesday Morning in Houma. When we found it, we knew this was meant for this little boy’s room. The caged lamp highlighted the “vintage” theme in this room. This lamp was purchased from Target.

Shelving:
This wall to wall shelf was built to highlight the talents of this wonderful athlete. This piece truly makes a statement as it is right above the bed. I think my most favorite thing on this shelf is the light up letters spelling out, “PLAY BALL.” These letters came from Hobby Lobby.

This collage wall was super fun! This mom has so many amazing action shots of this little pitcher that we found the most perfect space to display this. All of the photos were ordered through CVS photo and came in within a two week period. We added this “S” as a pop of color. Lastly, my most favorite sentiment of this wall is the baseball glove. This glove belonged to this little boy’s grandpa. We couldn’t think of a better place to save, preserve and display this.

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you there was a giant sliding door here before we covered it up. We had this moveable barn door built in order to cover up the glass door. Before, this space was covered with wall to wall furniture. We decluttered and simplified this space to make it functional and practical. The desk chair is my favorite!

More than anything I wanted this barn door to have a purpose. It serves as a place this little one can display all of this favorite sentimental and meaningful items. I decided to organize each shelf by event to make it appealing to the eye and easy for him to know where to put his collectables. Each shelf highlights a special area of his life that he can always have on display.

These vintage lockers from Hobby Lobby serve as storage for this little boy’s practice and game uniforms for his baseball games. They are super precious and add the perfect touch to this baseball bedroom. Additionally, he collects baseballs and baseball bats on his vacations, so we decided to display them on top of these lockers. I think this room was a home run! Hope you all enjoyed! Stay Gorjess💋✌🏼
